Beneficial medications were politicized and discouraged

Posted on August 3, 2021December 22, 2025 by Verity

“And I can tell you, if you look across the array of White House Task Force members we’ve had, regular media doctors that we’ve had, NIH, CDC, FDA, WHO, we haven’t had a single doctor who has considerable experience in treating outpatient COVID-19, not a one. And Senator Johnson kind of basically exposed this in the November 19th hearing where we had a minority witness, and that minority witness, who’s a media doctor, he’s on TV all the time, he spent about two hours in his rebuttal of our approach. And his rebuttal was largely, “You don’t have enough evidence, and what you’re proposing is not good enough for me.” That was kind of his argument. And it’s an argument we’ll never win, because the idea is we don’t have the resources. I don’t have $45 billion. We’re trying to piece together our approach using the most modest means, and all the resources are for vaccines. And this doctor who’s a big vaccine proponent went on and kept advising no treatment for America, no treatment, no treatment. It was two hours.” Dr. David McCullough

Hydroxycloroquine

Fake studies were published to make hydroxychloroquine look bad. One of those studies was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. You can read about this trial here: ClinicalTrials.gov: Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 Post-exposure Prophylaxis (PEP)

  • PMC: Efficacy of hydroxychloroquine for post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection among adults exposed to coronavirus disease (COVID-19): a structured summary of a study protocol for a randomised controlled trial This trial began in March 2020 and was published June 2020. Being funded by the Gates Foundation is a big red flag, considering Mr. Gates’ excitement over the prospect of a vaccine.

There is a lot of political and financial incentives in this country to make this medication [hydroxychloroquine] unattractive. This is medication costs 23 cents a pill and the president of the United States [President Trump] supports it. So this has been a very orchestrated well organized effort to make this medication seem extremely dangerous, that it’s killing people. Dr. Zelenko, Source

  • There was never a low stock of Hydroxychloroquine. There has been a stockpile of 40 million doses in Ohio since February 2020–plenty to manage the pandemic without a vaccine.

Hydroxychloroquine suddenly became a political drug when President Trump mentioned it in a press briefing. Even though it showed promise in preventing extreme cases of the virus, some states decided to ban the medication. Many believe the governors who did this caused unnecessary deaths.

Monoclonal antibodies are effective but have been used politically.

First, Biden told us that monoclonal antibodies are helpful. Then he kept red states from getting them. (This may be the “unity” he discussed in his campaign? It seems to have evolved into “Join me or die,” literally.)

  • Even though there have been 500,000 doses of monoclonal antibodies available, most hospitals have not offered them to patients.
