The PCR test should have never been used on asymptomatic people.

An area which I think is not reasonable is this idea of doing nasal PCR testing in people who aren’t sick.

The EUA for the PCR tests, granted in April 2020, only allowed for testing symptomatic people. In July 2020, the LabCorp prescription tests were approved for people who were not symptomatic. Nothing changed between that time period (no studies were done), and the majority of PCR tests on the market were still not approved for asymptomatic people.
